Need a hand?
For renters
How does Hayven work?
Hayven is a marketplace for stays between 30 days and 12 months. Renters find spaces near their target hospital, and landlords list their spaces for a simple annual fee. We don't take any cuts or charge booking fees.
What's "all-in pricing"?
The price you see is the price you pay. Landlords set a monthly price that includes all utilities, furnishings, and fees. No hidden service fees or guest booking fees are added at checkout.
How do I pay my host?
You pay your host directly off-platform using whatever method you both agree on (like ACH, Venmo, or check). Hayven is not a payment processor, which is how we keep the platform free of transaction surcharges.
Can I cancel my stay?
Cancellation policies are agreed upon in your lease agreement. If you need to cancel before moving in or during your stay, message your host as early as possible to discuss details.
What if my host cancels on me?
While rare, if a host cancels a confirmed stay, our support team will help you find an alternative space immediately. Report any cancellations to support.
For hosts
How much does it cost to list?
Listings cost a simple yearly subscription: $79/yr for homes, $39/yr for garages/storage, and $19/yr for parking spots. Parking is completely free if bundled with any other listing.
How do I get tenants?
Once your listing is live, it is visible to travel nurses, residents, and other mid-term renters searching near Denver area hospitals. You can also buy a Boost to feature your listing at the top of search results.
How does the subscription work?
Landlord subscriptions are billed annually. First listing has a 30-day free trial. If you cancel, your listing remains live until the end of your billing cycle.
What's a Boost?
A Boost is an optional add-on that highlights your listing at the top of search results for 30 days for $15. If your space gets booked, you can pause the Boost and save the remaining days for later.
Tax & legal basics
Hosts are responsible for complying with local Denver/Aurora rental regulations and reporting income. We recommend consulting with a local tax professional.
Trust & safety
What does "verified" mean?
Verified users have confirmed their identity (using a government ID and selfie) and work status (like a hospital contract for travel nurses). Verified status shows as a checkmark to build trust.
How do reviews work?
After a stay completes, both renters and hosts can review each other. Reviews are blind and only revealed once both sides submit theirs, or after 14 days have passed.
I think this is a scam
If a listing or user seems suspicious (e.g. asking for off-platform payment before signing a lease or verifying their identity), please report them immediately using the 'Report a problem' button.
Privacy & data
We take privacy seriously. Your exact address and personal contact details are kept secure and only shared with a renter/host once an inquiry is accepted.
